60uP is the culmination of visionary thinking applied to a great need. Here's a bit more about the driving forces behind the 60uP Balance Board System.
Being such an active person throughout his life, Bob Eubanks finally had to have extensive back surgery resulting in mobility restrictions and loss of balance. His quality of life declined due to inactivity. Longtime friend Dan Metcalfe developed an exercise program for Bob. Within weeks Bob’s life changed for the better. Now at the age of 81, Bob is able to resume the activities he loves and is enjoying a healthier, happier and better quality life. From this training program Dan created the 60uP™ Balance Board we now present. It’s not a question of will it work. Rather how many will invest the time to create a better life.
Bob Eubanks - Celebrity - Entrepreneur - Radio DJ - Game Show Host - TV Producer
As a young man, Bob Eubanks was very active in the world of sports as a professional cowboy and competitive skater. In 1958, Eubanks entered the entertainment industry. Bob was one of the top Rock n’ Roll DJs in Los Angeles at The #1 Radio Station for 7 years. In 1972, he entered the world of Country Music where he exclusively promoted Merle Haggard for 10 years. During that time he also managed and crafted the careers of Dolly Parton, Barbara Mandrell and Marty Robbins.
Bob is the only living person to have promoted a Beatles concert all three years they toured America. He also produced some of the biggest concerts ever, including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan to name a few.
Bob was a top television producer, producing network and syndicated game shows as well as variety shows. He has hosted some of television’s most successful daytime programs, such as the Newly Wed game and Card Sharks. He is the only game show personality to host the same format with original programming for five decades. TV Guide names him one of the top game show hosts of all time. He’s won five Emmys, including the Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Industry’s Gold Mic Award. Bob became the last person to receive a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the 20th Century.
Dan Metcalfe - Entrepreneur - Business Owner - Expert Coach - Out of the Box Solution Thinker
Creator and inventor of the 60uP™ Balance board, Dan developed a natural entrepreneurial vision throughout his life’s adventures. Before his training and teaching fitness evolved with international acclaim, Dan went through Professional Soccer Clubs and the Royal Marines Cadet Force in England. Dan then switched to show business through acting, dance and singing. He has acted opposite Robert Duvall and Will Ferrell among many greats, as well as helping create projects for Universal Studios and DreamWorks, to mention a few. Dan released his own documentary. The Ultimate Goal focuses on individual greatness within a team. An inspiring true story.
Dan played Lead Roles in Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber shows in four different countries, including London’s famous West End. He was in the original Starlight Express Cast at the Elvis Presley famous Las Vegas Hilton Hotel. He started coaching soccer players and was quickly brought in to the Olympic Development Soccer Program as a Head Coach. Over 30 players he trained play(ed) professionally throughout the world.
Dan created DMS11, a non-profit 501c3 organization, helping young athletes reach their goals and helping hundreds get into college.
In 2012, Dan envisioned, and created, an amazing 20,000 sq. ft. “fitness through movement” training center in Westlake Village, CA. Internationally recognized, Dan coached, and had his staff training, any level athlete and person wishing to improve their quality of life’s success through physical health improvement. His programs were a huge success and his passion for breaking glass ceilings, allowing others to live to their true potential, is legendary. He is also an inspirational speaker on the greatness of the individual and the team. The Greatness of You!
Dan believes quality of life should not be limited by society's expectations, but rather empowering the possible. This belief inspired the creation of the 60uP™ Balance Board Training Program. The results speak for themselves.
Dan’s passion to help living better lives has impacted his parents. His Mother and Father still live in England. With 60uP his Mother has improved her life after the falls she had on numerous occasions. She is as confident and adventurous as ever with the belief in her ability to continue to strengthen and do what her mind wishes. The 60uP™ Balance Board has reinvigorated her self confidence in getting up and doing life. There is no greater gift than the gift of a better life. Dan knows helping family is more than just an opportunity. It is part of humanity. Let's help each other.
